Engineered to deliver high-density storage expansion and hardware-level redundancy, the A-520 PCIe SATA 6G RAID Card equips modern PCs and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems with flexible, low-overhead array configurations. Built around the Marvell 88SE9230 chipset and utilizing a PCIe 2.0 x2 host interface, this Serial ATA Revision 3.0 compliant controller supports up to four simultaneous connections selectable across two external eSATA and four internal SATA ports. Capable of driving 6G, 3G, and 1.5G drives, it features Native Command Queuing (NCQ), FIS-based and command-based Port Multiplier switching, as well as hardware RAID 0, 1, 10, and HyperDuo acceleration to significantly reduce CPU overhead during heavy read-write operations.
